in Health (PIH - www.pih.org), is a 501(c)(3) organization and is affiliated with Harvard Medical
School, the Harvard School of Public Health, and the Brigham and Women’s Hospital.Leveraging the
resources of these world-renowned institutions, PIH brings modern medical science to areas of the world where it is needed
most.Founded by Dr. Paul Farmer, Dr. Jim Yong Kim (current President of Dartmouth College) and others,
PIH today has the strongest health presence in Haiti, where in 2009 it treated 2.6 million patients there with clinic visits,
vaccinations, mobile health care and hospital services.Tickets purchased by credit card or
check are tax deductible. Checks should be made out to “Partners in Health” with “Haiti”
marked on the memo line.
